Fujairah

In addition to its distinctive architecture, the Fujairah Fort has historical and political value. It dates back to the 16th century AD and serves as a fortress for the city. It was used as a refuge to protect the region’s people from the Portuguese and the English attacks before it turned into a major administrative centre and then into a tourist attraction that welcomes many visitors from all regions and countries
