Al Taiba Heritage Museum
The Museum, which attracts visitors from across the country and beyond, showcases a wide array of displays that portray the ancient social dynamics of ancient homes, the traditional kitchen and its elements, the majlis, as well as the clothing, accessories, and personal belongings of Emirati women. It also has exhibits of jewelry, children's bedrooms, and the traditional water well. Moreover, there are numerous displays that showcase various ancient customs and traditions, offering insights into the rituals of residents in the past across various aspects of daily life. The Museum also houses heritage artifacts dating back over 200 years, including pottery, brass and metalware, household tools made from palm branches, as well as ancient weapons and handcrafted musical instruments. Additionally, it features displays of agricultural tools and sewing equipment used in the past, along with belongings of coastal residents.
