The museum tells the story of the city and its people through a journey of a time that extends over 5000 years BC from the prehistoric era including the Stone, the Bronze and the Irons ages until the formation of the UAE.

The museum consists of an open yard, 12 rooms, and 2 towers presenting a collection of photographs, collectibles, antiques, historical documents, and manuscripts that enriches the knowledge of our future generation and illustrate the significant role of our region’s history and how it shaped our identity.
